Week notes 2026-37
We travelled back home after spending a week with my in-laws; I played the first game of Fall Ball and then had the year-end tournament that same weekend. Neither of our teams got to the championships on Sunday.
In between, we went to a playoff game for the Ottawa Titans, vs the New Jersey Jackals. That was a fun game!! I bought a program, which included a scorecard, so I ended up keeping score. The Titans won (and would go on to win game 2 of the best of 3 series to go to the conference finals this week).
But some unforseen circumstances had us heading back to my in-laws Sunday. The original plan was me staying while my wife went alone, but we decided it was best for me to to, too. It's hard to be away from creature comforts but we're here for some very good reasons.
Brightest spot for the week: we confirmed baby's gender in the most recent ultrasound Friday!
