Week notes 2026-34
This week turned out to be pretty quiet on the work front, and I fully appreciate that. These days I could use more of that. On the life front, a little busier; we were at my in-laws because my wife's mother fractured her shoulder and is in a sling for another ~5 weeks or so. I came back today, while my wife is coming back later this week (full anatomy scan is Friday!!). But yeah...lots going on there.
My mind is a little scattered right now, typing this up Sunday night so I don't have to worry about it tomorrow. But here's a bunch of things I have in point-form from Obsidian that happened / I did this week (roughly in chronological order, and definitely not sorted thematically):
- 📖 Finished "The Tapestry of Time".
- 🎮 played: Star Trek Resurgence — basic casual game with quick time events, sort of like telltale games. Mostly fun to play an interactive Star Trek episode. Also, a redshirt just got a hole burned into him.
- 🔗 I understand them but I don't have to like them (wasps)

- 📖 Started: Fifteen Dogs
- 🔗 How to write a short story in five sentences – Nate.spot
- 📝 I bought a new New iPod Case (a while ago, but I wrote about it this week)
- 📝 I wrote some thoughts about untethered blogging
- I was going to share an opinion about Pagecord but feel like I would be piling on (even though my position ends up being neutral).
- 📝 I replied to my own blog post
- 📺 WATCHED: Strange New Worlds S4E5
- 📝 I cleared out some links from my 'for later' pile
- 📝 I wrote a little about using Obsidian
