Year End Summaries
Let me start off by saying that I have zero problems with things like Spotify's year in review, and Apple Music does the same, and so does Pocket Casts (my podcast app of choice).
But now everyone does it. I got an email from Goodreads telling me about my 2024 in review (I ignored it, and unsubscribed - I don't use Goodreads anymore anyway). The most egregious example is my bank sent me a year in review email. Why does a bank need to send one of these reviews?
At this point I think the year in review stuff has jumped the shark. I'd like it to end, please.
