Watched: X-Files Season 2 Episodes
📺 WATCHED: X-Files Season 2 episodes: "Soft Light" and "Our Town".
"Soft Light": From the episode description, I was going to skip this one (man's shadow is killing people). I searched for reviews and saw Tony Shaloub was in it so that became an immediate watch. At first it seemed like a throwaway episode but turned out to be part of the overall mytharc (on the government cover-up side, not aliens). Scully's protogé had a poor end to her young career.
"Our Town": I wasn't as high on this episode (a town of cannibals centered around a KFC knock-off) but it was at least interesting that it started with Scully observing they were being sent on a case to get them out of the way. Kind of goes along with how the last episode ended (with Mulder sticking his nose into too many things).
