What's in my bag?
A couple of weeks ago, James wrote a post reviewing a couple of sling bags he bought after a recent trip exposed the downsides of lugging a bulky backpack on a recent vacation. He reviewed two bags and ended up recommending the Ulanzi Travel Sling V2 (PB038).
I have a trip coming up in June, and before James' post the thought of a sling bag never crossed my mind. After reading it though, it's obvious why I should get one. It's versatile and can carry a lot of stuff! And we have a lot of stuff to carry!
I looked around at various options and they were either too small compared to the Ulanzi bag, or far too expensive. I bought the Ulanzi bag for $65+tax and got it yesterday (after recovering it from a botched Amazon delivery). So what's in my bag?
The bag in its closed form.
The contents of the bag.
So here's what's in it!
Visible items:
- Sony α5000 mirrorless DSLR (with F3.5-5.6 / 28-70mm lens attatched)
- F4.5-6.3 / 55-210mm lens
- F3.5-5.6 / 16-50mm lens
- Pentax Espio 738G film camera
Not visible items:
- charging cable + brick for camera
- various extra SD cards
- air pump for cleaning lens (actually removed from the bag temporarily for this photo)
- something that will be there when we travel: an Anker power bank
That's it for the time being. There are two other exterior zipper pockets that will probably be filled with something. I'd also love a small travel tripod but we don't have one of those yet.
