Weeknotes 2026-28
This is one of those weeks where a LOT happened, but I didn't really record it (outside my journal). There are some things I don't really want to share, or that I've shared already. My Obsidian "week in review" file for this week is entirely blank except for the day of the week that is added by my BASH script automatically.
What else can I talk about? My sleep was generally okay last week. Not a surprise that it's because I was working remotely and didn't have to set an early alarm and rush around to get ready for work.
I researched a few things but I didn't write them down...I think the next thing I'm going to do is look into getting an R4 cart (or pico card?) for my DS Lite. I asked Joel for some advice, since he's into modding stuff. I got some helpful replies from other people on Mastodon and that's where I got the suggestion of the Pico Card. And I have to try to avoid "timebombed" R4 carts.
- Ordered a couple of things:
- a purple silicone bracelet with EPILEPSY engraved on it
- Used copy of the soundtrack for Ken Burns' Baseball
- Updated the paint job for the blog
Things I made this week:
- Monday thoughts 06—the usual collection of jumbled thoughts.
- A positive epilepsy experience—I shared a reddit post by someone who had a very bright outlook about their epilepsy diagnosis.
- Easing frustration with games & web design—Talking about some massive changes at work and a couple things I did to take my mind off of it for a short time.
- A strange episode of MacGyver (TV)—I saw a fun, campy episode of MacGyver and I wanted to share it. Turns out someone else watched the very same episode, the same day!
