Week Notes 2026-12
Too much snow. There was a snowstorm all day Sunday through Monday morning, and it changed to freezing rain to create a top icy layer over 40 cm of snow. The cars were buried and needed to be dug out, and it was highly possible one of them wouldn't be able to make it out of the driveway. But we made it. And this - just a day after we cleared the yard from another snowstorm the day before.
So yeah, I've had enough snow.
There were some other things I had going on but I think I'm going to write separate posts about them this week.
2026 projects and goals
This week was going to be a struggle; being at my in-laws is very tough for food logging, and it's very easy for me to be a lot less active. Most of it is being out of our regular routine, but sometimes being away from home (even if it's not a vacation) can result in being a bit lazy.
I averaged over 6600 steps a day so I'm happy with my efforts.
Last week's goals
- finish planning a podcast ✅
- continue with step target work ✅
- make sure to keep logging food as best as possible (more difficult when not at home) ❌
This week's goals
- Log calories every day
- Try to record podcast
- Increase step goal to 7000
