Wednesday thoughts 14
Apparently it's Earth Day? I haven't heard much "hype" leading up to the day, and haven't heard or read any news stories about it (admittedly I haven't listened to much radio today).
But perhaps just as important, today is Ancestor's Eve!

I was all set to write about some topics that have been on my mind but around lunchtime I felt the mental strain from some things I'm dealing with at work. I'm not at liberty to talk about them publicly but I can say it's not entirely related to the work itself, but things adjacent to it. I have some things to deal with.

It is uplifting to see the sunshine for so many days in a row, though! Almost all of last week was full of rain. Temperatures got high on the weekend before dropping again but we're on the upswing again.
Tentatively we have softball practice coming up on Sunday so that's very nice to look forward to and offsets some of the mental strain I'm feeling a little bit.
