Wednesday Thoughts 12
This is my last vacation day before going back to work tomorrow. I think I had a lot of thoughts rolling around in my head as we drove back home but a lot of them are gone. Here's what I've got for now.
¶
I wrote yesterday (or Monday?) about doing some more tech tinkering, setting up a new listing of my 4K disc library. I almost abandoned the project in its infancy because I wanted to start a different 11ty project instead - but I can do both.
The short version is - I was going to use Pagecord for a specific project but I don't like the direction it's heading at the moment. So when I am eventually ready for said project, I'll set up an 11ty blog for it.
Work on the 4K library is halted for now.

To make things easier on myself, I migrated my gaming website to GitHub so I can update it whenever I feel like. I also changed the URL - so now instead of going to lwgrs.neocities.org the URL is https://gaming.lwgrs.cloud - there are meta refreshes and feed redirects all in place, so old links won't be broken.
I'm a bit revitalized with this and hope to write about games again soon. Maybe even retro games since that's what the site is supposed to be about...

I'm excited for a new project: downsizing my CD library from multiple jewel cases to thin sleeves. I found the idea for it via Joel who linked to it in his notes for week 08.
Joel linked to this post from a blogger about re-discovering her CD collection, and in it she linked to a video that detailed the process.
I ordered the sleeves and they should arrive tomorrow.
Additionally, this helps one of my overall goals which is to do a clean & purge of the basement - the room where my CDs are stored is the next target.
