Tuesday Thoughts 11
I had the realization this afternoon: I can tell when I'm not feeling 100%, whether it's illness or (as I'm experiencing now) back pain. If I'm sick, my tendency is to not want to eat until I'm on the mend. At that point, I'll try to eat everything — that's how I know I'm starting to feel better.
When I have back pain or not feeling 100% mentally, I feel like eating any kind of junk I can think of. That's what's happening today. My back is bothering me (but thankfully it's minor, I'm not physically compromised) and on top of my usual planned food I polished a bag of chips (two servings by weight) and had a PB & J sandwich.

I recently found out that you can change Kay's appearance in Star Wars Outlaws. I don't mean different outfits — I already knew that, as you can collect & buy different jackets, pants, belts, etc. At first I thought you could alter the colours of the outfits, but what it actually means is you can wear ANY outfit and change the appearance to look like something else.
I've probably lost some people, but the way it works out is that certain outfits affect gameplay. My outfit of choice makes stealth a heck of a lot easier, but I prefer the look of other outfits. What you can do here is go to Kay's closet on the Trailblazer and change the appearance of the outfit. For example, my outfit of choice is the Crimson Dawn gear, but I've changed the appearance so that it actually looks like a cool vest, red highlight pants, and a bright red belt. Complete opposite of stealth, but I get the gameplay benefits of wearing the "stealth suit".
Pretty cool (just trust me).

We are currently experiencing what I think is the best version of Autumn weather: warm days and cool evenings and mornings. It's comfortable to leave the windows open all day but you can go out without bundling up or feeling an extra chill from the rain.
T-shirts during the day, sweater weather at night. Perfect.

I just got the tires changed on one of our cars today. The shop owner told me we need new summer tires next year. This tracks, because they looked pretty rough every time I examined them recently. And then, looking at our almost brand new winter tires, it's immediately evident that the summer tires were in horrible shape.

We're trying to prepare our house for the arrival of our baby early next year. I thought I would be purging more stuff but I think I hit a wall. Surely, I have purged some things, but not to the degree I would have expected.
I'm not sure if that means we've already gotten rid of the stuff we don't want/need, or if I'm not being as ruthless as I should be when it comes to cleaning house.
Probably a little of both.

You know...I feel like I'm compelled to have more than 2 or 3 thoughts to make these posts "worth it" but I really don't have much else. I need to remember this next time I start out writing a 'thoughts' post.
