Tag cleanup
I created a style guide today, because I have a mess of tags. Currently there are 5 rules, which I came up with mainly to help me organize my tags. The biggest one is pluralizing all tags so that I don't end up with duplicates.
I didn't come up with any other tag rules but I also notice I flip between using technology and tech, so I decided I'm going to just use tech; both are technically "plural" but I usually refer to things as just "tech" when I write about it in my week notes so I might as well shorten it here.
I also eliminated blogging; as I did so I wasn't sure if I should, since I could differentiate between talking about blogs (blogs) and talking about blogging. But I figured in that case I should just use writing, or meta depending on the subject matter. Sometimes I think blog is more appropriate but keeping to the plural rule keeps things straight.
Another I thought hard about: tags that only apply to an individual post. In one case I eliminated the tag, but on further though I think it's fine. I might use that tag in the future.
