📺 Watched: Star Trek Strange New Worlds S4E8 "Orders of Magnitude"
⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easily my favourite episode of the season. Prior to this, it was "Off-Hour". This episode just felt so much more like "Star Trek". It's got two great homages to series past:
- Planet Hell type alien planet (complete with random growing crystals)
- A "Badmiral" — one which the writers give you immediate "suspect" vibes without giving you clear context. It's all in the writing and overall "vibe".
The only frustrating part is that Anson Mount has very little to do again. He's supposed to be the captain and main character. And yet he's largely absent. It's been that way a lot this season except for the "chronitrons" episode.
