Samsung OneUI 7 - First Impressions
Got Samsung's latest version of OneUI, version 7 this morning. For the uninitiated, it's their Android launcher, with a bunch of custom additions that aren't there in "vanilla" Android. Compare what Google runs on their Pixel and you'll get a slightly different experience.
Anyway, I started a thread on Mastodon with my initial impressions. There are some replies between Jake and I that cover some of this as well. Bottom line: overall it's a good upgrade, breaks one or two things I used before, and I need to un-train some muscle memory. I think it's better than most people on /r/GalaxyS21 would make you think.
