re: re: no one has any hobbies now / the 4 types of blog | ava's blog
I'm disappointed that seemingly as a result of Ava's post, the original article (and blog posts) were taken down entirely. To clarify, I'm not disappointed in Ava, what I mean is I'm disappointed that now there's no longer a blog that I could have read. Usually when I click through an original post in a reply, I tend to check out some of the other posts on the blog.
But I'm also disappointed that the original poster (thank you Ava for including quotes) seems to look down on things like "personal journals". Maybe that wasn't his/her intent, but that's the way it comes across to me. But now that the post is removed, I won't be able to get the proper context.
I'll close with this: I'm a strong proponent of creating something YOU would read/watch/listen to. If you're not seeing enough of what you want to read in the discover feed, make it happen yourself. Maybe that will encourage others to do the same.
And don't be discouraged by not "trending" on the discover page...it's not worth the stress of putting energy into that. Posts trend for weird reasons all the time.
