Pagecord looks very appealing

I've heard more and more people1 talk about Pagecord lately, and the more I've looked into it, the more it looks appealing to me.

The short of it is that it's a very simple blogging platform. Instead of posting with Markdown, you post with Rich Text. The twist is that you also get a secret email address with which to email your posts to your blog. I find that this opens up a lot of possibilities! I don't know what they all are yet, but for example, I could blog from my work Outlook program and it will still look like I'm doing work in an open office environment.

Seriously though, I am considering starting up a Pagecord...page. I'm split on what I would do with it at the moment. Some ideas:

Either way my idea would be to just post it and put it out in the world without promoting it heavily. If I started it, and you read this blog, you wouldn't even know I did. My intention is to stay with this blog & Bear, but it's always fun to experiment with other platforms and do different things with them.

The other part of this startup is that the paid tier is only $29 USD a year, which is a little under $3 a month. That's around $40 CAD which is a little pricey for me, so I'll stick with the free tier (if I sign up).

If you want to read some more about Pagecord I recommend reading the FAQ. The terms & conditions is also pleasantly easy to read.
