Derailed
My day has been absolutely derailed today - it happened yesterday too, but to a greater degree today. I guess today is more 'dealing with the aftermath' than yesterday.
I was hoping to do some more writing (not for a blog) tonight but now I'm not sure I will be able to. Instead I'll probably have to log in to do some more work for my day job because I'm not going to finish what I need to do this afternoon.
I feel stress even though logically I shouldn't be. What I'm working on isn't time sensitive (right now), I just want to get it done. Doesn't help that I have an employee off this week and I'm dealing with more than I normally would. Most weeks that's not a problem, but as I said - day derailed two days in a row.
