Big Nope
Big ol' NOPE on today. I wanted to write a reflection on #Junited2024 but that will come another day.
Things that went wrong today:
- Both tires of my bike were flat; I attempted to pump them up again but they wouldn't take any air. Neither of them.
- I took my wife's bike so I could still bike to work. Tires pumped up fine. But:
- The chain was off the derailleur, had to fix that
- The front brake was not connected. Rear brake works-ish
- Decided to just ride without proper brakes, why not?
- Attempted to fix the brakes at lunch time but proceeded to first make the front brake problem worse (fixed that error), but ultimately not able to properly fix it without my tools at home
And just in general, I'm tired and have to wait 5¾ hours now to play softball. And because I biked to work I can't pick up anything from the grocery store so I don't know what my wife is getting for me to cook.
Nope, I'll start over tomorrow.
